Chapter One
Where the story began
Danny had built a successful business, but Loksand itself had no brand of its own. He wanted to launch it as a product in its own right, something distinct that could stand on its own two feet in front of a global audience. The challenge was a familiar one in technical industries: the product was genuinely clever, but it looked and sounded like every other functional, engineering-led solution on the market. There was no identity to speak of, and nothing that captured why Loksand was different. My job was to take something easily dismissed as dry and technical and make it feel trustworthy, premium and genuinely appealing.
Chapter Two
What we uncovered
The people Loksand needs to win over, golf course architects, superintendents and engineers, are expert, discerning and rightly sceptical. A brand like this can't bluff its way to credibility; it has to earn it quickly. What kept coming up was that the story needed to come before the product. Rather than leading with technical specifications, the brand had to explain, simply and clearly, what Loksand does and why it matters, then let the detail follow for those who want it. That insight shaped everything: an identity built to feel established and credible from the first glance, paired with messaging that makes a complex product easy to understand.

The Outcome
A technical product that once looked like every other engineering solution now stands out as confident, premium and impossible to dismiss. Danny can put it in front of the most discerning buyers anywhere in the world and have it earn their trust before a single spec is read.
Chapter Three
The next chapter
I created the brand from the ground up: the logo, typography, colour palette, brand guidelines, a full website and an exhibition stand to carry it into the industry in person. The result is a brand that looks unlike anything else in the sector, considered, confident and a world away from the dull, technical norm. Danny now has an identity he can put in front of architects, superintendents and distributors anywhere in the world and feel proud of, one that finally does justice to a product quietly proving itself on golf courses across the globe.
